For the second to last bullet point, maybe add the command needed to run the script as root.
For the 6th bullet point, I would rephrase the second sentence, “Make sure you have a forward slash at the end of your site name” or something like that. Maybe even add an example of the correct format for the authorized redirect URI, https://sitename.com/
After editing the database name, login, and password, I think the installation worked, but after trying to visit my website it would not load.
For the third bullet point where it instructs you to edit the variables at the top of the file, do I need to change the database related variables too? If so, I’m not sure where to find that information.
Personally, I’ve never work with these things before, so I’m not sure if I did this step correctly. For instance, I’m not sure what IP address to use but I tried looking it up and tried looking up ipconfig in the startup search to get an IP address and pinging it using my domain name.
I can’t delete my comments, but I had to go the first link from the second bullet point in order to download the file. I had to go to “Code” and download the ZIP. I couldn’t find a download option in the first link provided in the first bullet point.
I’m a bit confused on how to use the install script from the link. Am I supposed to be able to download the script file?
I suggest adding an optional step that guides you through setting up the raspberry pi operating system for those who have never used raspberry pi before. This link https://www.raspberrypi.com/software/ is where you can download the Raspberry Pi OS and it includes a link to a short video going through the steps of installing the OS.
After clicking the “Create” button, you’ll be taken to an “Edit App information” page where you are required to give at least an app name, a user support email, and a developer contact information/email. The next and last step is to configure your scopes, but I left these alone.
If this is the first time creating an OAuth client ID, you will be prompted to configure your consent screen before you can create your OAuth client ID. Click “configure consent screen” and then select the “Internal” option for the user type.
