Makerstock Policies

The intended use of the components on the Makerstock website is for the ECE department and maker-related activities.

The Makerstock components are in place to supply folks interested in making and using the Maker-E for related activities. It is our hope that in removing the cost barrier, it will encourage folks to come and use the space and create projects, join the community, interact with other makers, and otherwise contribute to the mission of the Maker-E. The Makersotck website is not simply a place to come and get free parts.

We will not supply batteries for your calculator!!!

In order to keep the makerstock free, we need to manage the orders that we fulfill. We are happy to supply parts to people in order to encourage them to pursue projects, whether they are on their own or for course related. However, we reserve the right to deny or limit orders if they meet any of the following criteria

1. We find that the order is excessive. (Ex. you want to order 300 neopixels to light up your room)
2. The order is for personal use, and does not fit with the mission statement of the space. (ex. you want batteries for your calculator.)
3. We feel that the order violates the community guidelines in some manner
