Introduction
The Corporate Database houses all of the components that are stocked in the Maker-E. If you are looking to add parts from the Maker-E to your circuit you will need to add this database. Please note that in order to access the corporate database you must either be on Bucknell's campus or connected remotely via VPN.

Note: If you are using a computer in an ECE lab or in the Maker-E, the corporate database should already be mapped by default. You can confirm it is mapped by following this tutorial.
-
You must be on Bucknell's campus, or connected remotely via VPN, in order to access the corporate database.
-
Open Multisim and click the Options menu at the top of the screen, then Global Options.
-
-
-
Locate the Corporate Database line and hover your mouse over the line. Notice that a set of 3 dots will appear to the right of this line. Click on those 3 dots to bring up a dialog window.
-
The dialog window will ask for the location of the corporate database file. The corporate database can be found at: \\netspace\departments\elec_engineering\public\National_Instruments\CDS12.0\Corporate_Database Select the CPCOMP_S.PRJ file and then click Open. Click OK in the previous window.
-
In order for this change to take effect you must quit and restart Multisim.

It is a long term goal to get all of the Makerstock components into the corporate database. Alas, we are not there yet.
Regarding components in the wrong families, send me a list of issues and I can make those corrections. Actually - as faculty you have write access to the corporate database (it lives on the Elec netspace drive) so feel free to move things as you see fit!
